The Imperial Valley Symphony
Celebrates Márquez
Join us on October 10, 2026, for an unforgettable evening with the Imperial Valley Symphony, featuring the brilliant works of Arturo Márquez. Don't miss this unique musical celebration!
Maestro Márquez has become one of the most celebrated living composers in the world, captivating audiences with orchestral music inspired by the rich musical traditions and culture of Mexico. Although he was born in Sonora, Mexico, the Imperial Valley holds a special place in his heart. His parents and several of his siblings made the Valley their home, and despite an international concert schedule that takes him to major cities and renowned concert halls around the globe, he returns often to visit.
This special event offers our community a rare opportunity not only to hear Maestro Márquez's music performed live, but also to welcome the composer himself. During his visit, Maestro Márquez will spend time with students in school music programs throughout Imperial County, sharing his personal journey, discussing his music, and inspiring the next generation of young musicians to pursue their own artistic dreams.
A limited number of tickets are available for this special event celebrating the culture and music that makes part of Imperial Valley unique.
Tickets are $20.00 for Adults, 10.00 for Children 12 and Under.
