OUR MISSION

The Imperial Valley Symphony, a community orchestra based in Imperial, CA is a volunteer, non-profit organization that brings together the musicians from the Imperial Valley and surrounding communities and of all levels.   The Imperial Valley Symphony is dedicated to providing quality performances to our community and a place for musicians from all walks of life a creative outlet to pursue their passions.  The orchestra’s concert repertoire encompasses many periods, nationalities, and styles, featuring composers such as Beethoven, Vaughan Williams, Copland, Schubert, Tchaikovsky, as well as works by modern composers. 
The IVS typically performs three orchestral concerts per year and additional chamber music performances. All musicians are welcome. There are no auditions required for membership. 
Being a member of this organization allows members to grow as musicians and experience the joys that come with making music.
